Medicare For All is jsut a shorthand for Universal Helath Care with a single payer, but GOPers insist on thinking they can attack it by pointing out opening Medicare to everybody won't work.
Why shorthand, are they trying to hide something? How about "Government Run healthcare won't work". Do you prefer that. So Medicare doesn't work? is that what you are sayiing?
Same thing with Free College For All - just means Government needs to make all post-high school education and training affordable, like it was back in the 1960's and 70's.
Where do you get these crazy ideas - the government didn't pay for college back then. He din't say college, he said training programs. and he was saying affordable. for post HS education. li probable Community colleges.
Reason Republicans have all been ordered to attack those Slogans is the way we pay for them is to restore fairness to our tax code, and the GOPerLords issuing the orders do not want that to happen.
"Fairness in our tax code" being defined as, "the non-productive getting more of the property of the productive". I didn't get any orders from anyone but understanding the phoniness of your statement doesn't require "orders". BS
"BS"???? Seems a bit offensive. Do you have anything further to offer?

Scout thank you for clarifying those terms, I feel that Bernie never in reality has clarify those terms.
I agree with you,Americans want a Health Care system that insures all. the misnomer of Medicare for all makes it easier to demonize and use to divert attention.
The same with Free education for all. We also know as you have stated, that it is also a misnomer. and yes we all want affordable Universities that we can send our children to and not create the student debt that we have today.
Hoping that we can see a candidate that is able to articulate all of those wants, and that ensures all Americans that they are not going to socialize this nation. Americans are extremely fearful of anything that smelled socialism or communism.

Re: BERNIE SANDERS FOR PRESIDENT?
If I counted correctly, there are some 12 announced candidates running for the D-ticket nomination, and we have yet to hear from other potential challengers like Biden, Beto, Bloomberg and de Blasio, among others. There is a long road ahead to the 2020 convention, and plenty of time to hear from all of them.
Bernie is but one choice, and he already has a well articulated plan that appealed to a lot of D's and I's in 2016. Most of the D's have similar views on health care, immigration, and education, but may have different means to an end as to how to get there. It will be interesting to see how they choose to distinguish themselves from each other. Bernie chooses to call himself a Democratic Socialist to make that distiction, and so be it. The polls will eventually tell the story and D's will choose a nominee.
If the never-Trumpers do not care for the Democrats, then please go out and get your own candidate to run against Trump. You might start with Bill Weld, former (R) governor of MA, who is considering a primary challenge to Trump in his own party. Maybe he would work for you?
Maybe there will be others, like John Kasich, a moderate R, who recently signed on to pundit for CNN. It's reported that he is also sending out fundraising material under Kasich for America, described as a multi-candidate PAC. He's often mentioned the possibility of running as an Independent or on a bi-partisan ticket.
Long way to go . . .

I personally believe Bernie would have beaten Trump. Hillary bullied Bernie out of the primary.

There is no need to reinvent the wheel so, let's figure out a better suspension and drivetrain, no?

But I don’t feel a need for him this year. There are many good people running in the Democratic primary.

Re: BERNIE SANDERS FOR PRESIDENT?
He has to run on that ticket even though they used some very dirty tactics to try to eliminate him. Stats shown back then that he probably would have won against the current.
