It is a big step that he thinks Trumps interference in Judical matters on "Tweet" is not helpful to him or this nation, makes it public, and recognizes the seperation of powers. Trump does not control the Justice department, just the Executive Branch. (A bunch of looser relatives he should fire)
I bet you Barr gets fired next.
Trump does not care how long you served this Nation, if you say something that makes him look bad, you are gone.
Gee, unless everyone writing here has never heard of the tactic - it is called GasLighting. Yesterday the supposed lawyer decided to claim that anyone who disagrees with his lifetime? philosophy is not christian - so babble on, he is not going anywhere - he has his own agenda to push....as long as he pats Donald - he will stay to the very bitter end.
.....Barr's appearance before the committee will bring him face to face with some of Trump's fiercest political adversaries, including Chairman Jerry Nadler (D-N.Y.), who subpoenaed the Justice Department last year to obtain Mueller's underlying evidence and has gone to court to overrule Barr's refusal to share the grand jury evidence Mueller collected.
.....In addition to Stone and Liu, Democrats have a long list of issues they're likely to press Barr on, including his involvement in decisions surrounding Trump's decision to withhold military funds from Ukraine last year, and his handling of a whistleblower complaint about the episode that DOJ determined should be withheld from Congress, overruling an intelligence community inspector general. Those episodes helped spark House Democrats’ push to impeach Trump for abuse of power and obstruction of their investigations.
THIS, that's been going on for several weeks already, will surely be included in the Committee's inquiries.
‘Absolutely not clear’ why federal prosecutors in Pittsburgh will vet Giuliani’s Ukraine claims
.....Litman told WESA that “You can posit both benign and malign reasons” for moves made by the Justice Department. “There does seem to be a general pattern of … rewarding Trump’s friends and punishing his enemies, and having the attorney general be part and parcel of that kind of project.”
