Anymore, in everyday life, if someone says they support trump I simply smile and let out a very small chuckle. No sense in arguing or debating with trump supporters, their minds are closed and they are most often filled with anger .............  waiting for something or someone to let it out on.

There was no "wisdom" to have thoughts about.

Do you have any topic related thoughts on rk's comments about the topic?

I responded directly to what you posted about "wisdom", so if I was off topic then I guess you were.

Never confuse Trump Cult members by using FACTS. Three days ago, an ABC News/Washington Post poll put Trump's approval rating at 36%.---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------So Rasmussen has him at 48%-You pick the poll that you like but as in 2016 the polls are not very accurate.   As of now ,the Democrats has no real challenger for the 2020 Presidential  race and because the Democrats are leaning so far left, Trump should win easily. I`m hoping Elizabeth Warren is the candidate picked by the Democrats.

As to the basic question - he is doing what he promised. So those who voted for that agenda are still supporting him. Those that did not vote for him naturally do not support him--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------I haven`t seen anyone on this board change their mind on whether they support him or don`t. The topic question on this topic is inane -as if all the hate speech against Trump changed anybody`s mind. This also applies to people I know personally.  The only thing I notice that white women are leaning more to Trump that might have supported democrats in the past. This I attributed to the fact that when Liberals call their spouses ,boyfriends and brothers deplorables ,backwards ,racists etc etc. they resent the attacks and will more than likely  support their men with their vote.

You mean what he has done with the economy,     low unemployment (white, black hispanics, women)  GDP 4 %,consumer confidence highest in 20 years, closer to a peace solution with North Korea than any president in the last 60 years, Ending the terrible  Iran deal, fixing unfair high tarrifs that has hurt our businesses and manufacturers for decades, energy independence etc. etc. -----I would say his predecessors could learn a thing or two from Trump.

Ed, you deserve a prize. THere is a lot of nonsense posted to this board, but comparing Trump to Lincoln takes the prize.---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Actually when Lincoln was assassinated he was hated by the south, disliked by the north because of not punishing the south and holding them accountable for the civil war and the carpetbagging going on after the war.It is estimated his approval rating would have been around 13 % in today`s polling. Trump`s approval is between 44-48 % depending on which poll you look at and is higher than Obama`s  in the same time in his presidency.

He is running the country like one of his busnesses. Unfortunately, his only successful business was as a reality show star so that explains the weekly fire drill.

I am waiting for him to stay in the WH on a weekend instead of the constant vacations. Do you know he has played golf on 1/3 of the days he has been in office?

I don't recall any promises about porn stars and public payoffs for silence.  Must have been something he said in a rally.

When is Mexico going to pay for that wall?

Trump made 280 promises during his campaign.  He has done nothing about creating tax free dependent care accounts, govenment incentives for  employer assisted daycare, allowing Americans to deduct elder and child care from their taxes, $1 Trillion in infrastructure investments........oh God. so many broken promises.

I am talking about agenda, you put a lot in there about methodology.

As to the elements of the agenda, much has been accomplished. Be patient, he has a bit over six years to complete it.

Those were campaign promises.  He has kept 14 and broken 16.

Enact new ethics reforms to reduce the corrupting influence of special interests-broken

Make two- and four-year college more affordable-Broken

Provide matching contributions for low-income families to the dependent care savings accounts-Broken

Make Mexico reimburse the United States for the full cost of the wall-Broken

Direct the secretary of the treasury to label China a currency manipulator-Broken

Not "broken", rather "not yet fulfilled".

Relax, he has six more years, it will happen. Of course, some of it requires Congressional support. So be sure to vote R so those promises you want fulfilled will be.
