Loving it!!!!!!!   so when the National Emergency comes about, I am waiting to see Trump's face when he realizes that he cannot do as he pleases and he can be stopped.

So. many of you are only experiencing paper loss in your assets but we are not young so reoup is really not a good option.

and now the tax refund,  waiting for the money for vacations, paying of credit cards, using the money for whatever, Well, you may have to put a stop in your plans and see when they happen.

The abortion funding has not been reported by the WaPo, NBC, CBS, NYT, etc. So, either it is not true or the myth of the impartial free press is, once again, laid bare.

What the Democrats should do is to hold on fast. and start turning the media with pictures of the calamities that this shutdown is creating. start showing Americans not having food to eat. and drum into everyone head that they have voted to open the government and that is him that won't do it. flood the media with his  pictures and what he said. and flood the media withe the consequences of his actions. and we will see who they will blame. 
They are counting of the fact that they will follow their leader, but like I have said before. hunger is the most powerful effect that you will see on people and Americans don't know hunger.

So cheer on. and yes write to the President and make him have  his National Emergency   that will play well if the Democrats really understand the game.

By "act intelligently" do you mean politically (for the good of the Dems) or for the good of the country.

It seems like working out something to deal with our border security needs would be good for the country but not give them the partisan fight some (you?) seem to be longing for.

I may be wrong but I believe it is the former rather than the latter. And  Rabbi Wilson agrees. We discussed this after services at the Schul of the Sacred Heart last night.
