Re: Republicans make RUSSIAN KGB TREASON sound so reasonable

rk9152:  "Asset of the Kremlin" - a bit of hyperbole there.

Really? Lol

The American willing to provide information to Putin’s foreign intelligence officers rented a working space at 590 Madison Avenue. The building was linked by a glass atrium to a well-known New York landmark, Trump Tower. The atrium had a pleasant courtyard, with bamboo trees, where you could sit and drink coffee. Next door was a franchise of Niketown.

From the atrium you could take the elevator up to the Trump Tower public garden on the fourth floor, with its sparrows and maple trees. The din from West 57th Street meant the garden wasn’t exactly tranquil. Or you could queue up with Japanese and German tourists at the Trump Tower basement restaurant and salad bar. Failing that, there was Starbucks on the first floor.

Male-1 had a name. At this point few had heard of him. He was Carter Page.

This is the part that's sort of mind boggling.....we're watching people who for years have claimed to be Patriots who love our country and the Constitution now defending Carter Page who is very likely an asset of the Kremlin. Seeing this behavior reveals that the whole Patriots/Constitution lover thing was simply an act that they will ditch in a heartbeat if it goes against party interests. They are frauds and probably don't even realize it.

@Panjandrom,  So why is Carter Page not in prison or even charged with anything?

Did you miss the interview where Carter Page is wanting the FBI to release ALL of the information they have on him to the public?

You really need to keep up, your comment is about a full month behind the current news cycle.

BTW...   MSNBC is not even covering this...  LOL!!

So while the FBI is investigating do you think they should release the information they have to the public? Should trump release the Democrat's memo like he did the Republican's?

Yes and yes...  Plain and simple.  That said, I would not want REAL classified information deemed critical by the Congressional and White House intel people released to the public in order to protect our Republic.

I am against FISA abuses that target private citizens and political opponents of a current White House.

Re: ADAM SCHIFF IS OUT OF HIS LEAGUE

Questions every person ought to ask themselves;

-Does one supposed offense have anything to do with another..........even IF it happened?"

-Does one wrong cancel out the other?

-Is any offense lesser because someone else did it first?

-IF somebody else did it toooooooo!!!!"....does that make it OK from then on?

-Did you just create a false equivalency?

-Have you just created a 'new normal' we must live with from now on?

-Does your 'reason' for doing so justify the inevitable disintegration of the society you live in?

-Does that very disintegration actually serve your purpose?

-Is all that OK with you?

What goes on in someone's head that allows them to answer yes to any of that.  That's not rational, so it isn't.  Last question.

-Do you think the ends justify the means?

Is someone here actually comparing Nunes with Schiff?    really.  You cannot compare a moron with another person with  normal intelligence.

If now Paul Ryan had not actually become the  individual that he has seem to have become he should have thrown Nunes out of the Intelligence  committee.  but we are now seeing some politicians  that are really surprising most of their peers.

You are too funny !!!

That's the scary part PanJ, they don't realize it. They are being used as pawns by the White House, yet pledge their undying loyality to the man they worship and idolize in the White House who looks at them as a bunch of chumps.

But - who is defending Page? The only comments I've seen is questioning the corruption of the DOJ and FISA system to spy on the political opposition. Specifics about illegalities by Page are yet to be determined.

And you are right, Adam Schiff is out of the league of crooks and scoundrals.  He doesn't lurk to the White House to share information and going around the intelligence committee.  He has integrity, obviously Conservatives don't.

We know the moron president thinks Nemo's memo vindicates him.....what a pinhead.  Do you, Jim?

Jim is in the same league as Tucker Carlson.

So it begins.

does that mean you were against it when it was used to break up the wall st protests? To spy on NSA whistleblowers? Against leftist political parties?

you were against Nixon and Hoover using the FBI to promote a phony drug war? jailing civil rights protesters just to discredit them? Hoovers killing of activists in the 60's? cops killing people without a warrant or even a guilty charge? You are concerned about the citizens RIGHT?

So it begins.
