Re: A Question for Trump Lovers

For the first time in history, a SCOTUS nominee is opposed by more Americans than support him. Looks like ramming him thru the confirmation process will cost more Republicans seats in November, but the prospect of having another nazi toadie on SCOTUS will drive the leadership to do it...unless a couple of those GOPers who will lose in November decide to save their own political hides and abstain from voting until the FBI investigates... Guess we'll see if losing power will cause a spine to grow in swamp scum.

Republicans denied President Obamas nominee because they had the power to do so.

Now they will try and use that same power to seat a rapist who obeys the GOPerLords on the highest court.

They cannot USE power, only ABUSE it.

VOTE OUT THE NRAGOP IN NOVEMBER

I am now going to make this entire discussion as simple as humanly possible.  The question as originally stated is simply this:

Would Cavanaugh lying in front of the entire nation about a 36 year old incident disqualify him (IN YOUR OPINION) as a Supreme Court nominee?

Your only answer should either be "YES" or "NO."  That's it!  NOW, can those of you who claim to be republican, conservative, alt-right, patriot, or otherwise so inclined, just honestly answer the question as put forth above?

"YES" or "NO!"

e66 - 12 years on the court already previously confirmed.

Didn't you know, his honesty on several topics of that confirmation process are in question, again.

Most documents hand over in history.

All from the GW Bush library are unavailable.   dt believes they need to be hidden from you.

Respone   Hissy fit.

No fit, just facts.  At the time of his nomination Judge Merrick Garland had more federal judicial experience than any other Supreme Court nominee in history.

IMO, money being expended for a particular Republican operative will soon be finding its way to a more promising stooge.

Hardly. I don’t throw hissy fits. But I know avoidance and denial when I see it. When one runs out of facts for responding to thoughtful and rational questions, they fail to respond and provide any answer at all. Nice try!

2. The FBI sex crime experts ascertain who's lying and who's telling the truth.

How would that be possible with absolute certainty?

It would not. If we cannot be certain, we should move on to another candidate for the court.

Then another vague, unprovable claim could be made - and on and on until the Dems get a nominee they want. Is that really the process you'd like to see for our nation.

But it was OK for the Republicans to never hold a hearing or have a vote on Obama's nominee?

So the left assumes guilty with no evidence? Would you use the same criteria for Democrat nominees or are they presumed innocent until proved guilty?

So was Obama's nominee presumed guilty, so they held off and didn't hold a hearing or a vote for almost a year?
