Living in Cuba during the late 50-'s  and early 60's  I saw and learned what happens when a change in government happens.showed me many lessons that I have not forgotten.

As many will remember we had  a general called Batista , who was a dictator for many years. and Cubans have for many years have had elected Presidents  so having a Dictator was not a pleasant situation.

When Fidel Castro appeared he was the hero that descended to free all Cubans from a Dictator. and And in  a way, I have been lucky to have lived a time and an era that have was revered and honored by all.

What happened afterwards is something that I chose not to forget.
Fidel Castro tried to institute a socialist government and started by creating a war with the US .  he blame the US for all the ills that had been happening in Cuba. the exploitation of Americans toward Cuba in its economy was something that he was going to fix.

From then on, He started the creation of a divisive country.  the Rich vs the poor. and most of the Cubans did fall for those words,   and people with means became the  enemy. the press was silenced or incarcerated. and the continuous lies against many of the allies were daily put up in front of the Cuban people.
The Cubans of the era adored Fidel Castro. he was our Messiah.

Anything he said not matter how absurd was the truth.
And of course we saw all the nationalist policies take effect and really start to decimate the economy.
It was not until that so called "poor class"  started to suffer the consequences of the Castro policies that they began to turn against him that was in the `70's and we all saw the majority of Cubans coming to this country during that era. and denouncing the man that they have adored a few years ago as a Communist and undesirable.

Take a look at what I have said and tor the sake of all Americans look for parallels of what is happening today in many of the things that I have stated and recalled from memory.

I have looked and seen parallels in any effort around the world to establish Socialism. It is fortunate that President Trump came along at just the right time to stop the neoMarxism of the Progressive Movement.

It is particularly important since should it come to our shores, there is no place willing to give us "wet foot/dry foot". And who could accommodate our numbers anyway?

Yes  guys and gals.   the lies, the attack on the press. the policies to our allies  does it remind any of you of any similarities that we are seeing today?
Do not confuse socialism or Communism with the personal flaws of both leaders and what they accomplished
