@ RichvaRetired Marine general John Kelly was promoted from secretary of Homeland Security to White House chief of staff with one job: to impose discipline on President Donald Trump’s chaotic West Wing. Named at the tail end of a week that included the surprise departure of press secretary Sean Spicer and a shockingly profane rant by communications director Anthony Scaramucci to The New Yorker, Kelly offered the promise of order — but in the year since he took the job, things have gotten only crazier in Trump’s world.

He's a disgrace to his Uniform, to the Marines, and to all the medals he won. Doing nothing after a one on one w/Putin makes him as bad as The Donald, the WH is sleeping with the enemy.

This was the very Best Time to step down and show he did finally Love His Country over The Donald.

@Richva

Well Kelly was a Decorated Top Level Marine, but now he is a disgrace to his Uniform for what he has or has NOT done for this Country under the Donald by not stepping down. How can he defend himself after the Putin/Trump one on one meeting, and not fear for this Country?

Our military have fought the enemy we are now IN BED WITH, or at least the ones in The WH are. He could stand in front of a camera look into it and lie, and never apologize, knowing he was wrong, he put himself on The Donald's level.

Any and all those Generals should be ashamed not to step down when they see/hear the lies and what The Donald is doing that are harmful to the Country.

I hope they have tarnished their medals and they never come clean for them again. May their reputations never come clean, and hopefully Kelly and all the others are on 1 of those trains.

Practicing his survival skills in this administration by staying well out of the press. There was an article the other day about how the Pentagon and the military has no idea what Trump is going to do or say so they try not to even give information because it may get crosswise with some moronic thing Trump says later in the day and with no warning.

Mattis was left out of the loop on a number of major Trump decisions, such as the abrogation of the Iran nuclear deal in May, the abrupt suspension of joint military exercises with South Korea and the presidential executive order creating a new “space force”, against Pentagon advice.  The working theory is that he is headed for the door.

Well I'm sure there will be a tweet, retweet , fake  tweet about this issue. Not to mention a left and right  tweet.  To tweet or not to tweet that is the question.  Thank you Richva, for your  post. . Nancy

This is a fascinating list of Trump created (and Kelly created) disasters.  After the 2018 elections are over, we may see impeachment and certainly Republican challengers for their nomination. These will be the stories you will hear from Democrats and Republicans like Jeff Flake, Cruz, and other primary contenders.  Along with the new disasters Trump creates, of course.  Happy elections!!!!
