For those seeing "pay check to pay check" as a result of the free market, the following will show it is a societal problem. Bottom line, the problem appears to be "instant gratification".

@ChasKy53Nicely put. Remember ,nobody ever got a job from a poor person.

Sounds like something learned from propaganda.  Is this true about Denmark, Norway, etc?

Chasky wrote (in blue text)-In came Reagan and 'trickle down" (screw everyone but the wealthiest) economics. It has brought us to almost half of our society not earning enough to pay a federal income tax, a shrinking middle class with 80% of our society living paycheck to paycheck, while the wealthiest are getting wealthier at record rates.----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------The 80% you referred to seem to be doing really well with Unemployment being low, higher wages ,less taxes, higher maufacturing jobs ,lowest unemployment among blacks and hispanics ever etc. etc.. "Seem to be"? The truth is that 80% live paycheck to paycheck, no matter what you think it "seems" to be. Redistribution of wealth never works with socialism So why didn't you call it "socialism" when the Reagan tax plan redistributed the wealth of the Middle Class and lower to the top 1%?, and the liberal radicals in Congress will bankrupt the country Yep, the "radicals" like the Republicans and trump will "bankrupt" the country by giving more and more tax cuts to the wealthiest.. Imagine what will happen with their insane climate change plans-No plane travel,no gas fuel car travel(No fossil fuel at all in 12 years)  Guess we will all have to travel by train to Canada to catch a plane to Europe or Hawaii and the same when we return.A fallacy that no one has claimed to support.

I believe they are talking about the expected recession when all the unnecessary Trump stimulus wears off All the economists are talking about it.  You should do some reading about it.

Creating an environment in which the private sector creates jobs leading to historically low unemployment is hardly "stimulus" which is going to wear off.

Who are those economists you have heard say otherwise?

Those economists who discuss and describe the quite successful economic systems of the Nordic Countries in Europe comparing them to the less successful American capitalist economic system that employs fewer proved functional "socialist" methods and practices...

-So you are saying the other RK knows what socialism really is like, yet you and him are both here enjoying the fruits of Capitalism. I don`t see the other RK bragging about Sociaism being Utopia as you seem to be doing. BTW- As a Air Force Brat living abroad I seen socialism first hand and I will take Capitalism every day of the week.

I am afraid that you didn't understand what I was trying to say. and that it was not me or my opinions that I wanted you to hear.  Rk and I have different opinions on this subject. I simply requested that you should speak with Rk because he has the knowledge of the goo and the bad and the flaws of Socialism, and he could explain it better that I   could.

Once again we see the far right prove the experts correct on what they told us about them. There was a recession at the end of the second Bush Term. It was Obama who created the economy we have had for the last two years of Trump term just like it was Bush who created it for the first 3 years of Obama term. Trump has increased the national debt faster than any President. It now is at it highest level. The tax cut for the rich helped a lot. The US will hit its debt limit shortly, and it will have to increase taxes or cut spending. Here goes SS,Medicare, and other program that help the average person. Trump will try and cut them.

This country is already socialist, and we all take part in it. It is American socialism. Lets see what American Socialism has done for us: Ended the depression in the 1930, Created Social Security, Medicare, medicaid, GI bill for vets which includes housing finance, college attendance, Inter state highway system, computers, and use of them, air and rail transportation system, ended the 2007 recession. What have our far right done. They opposed all of that. We would still be living in the dark ages if they had their way.
