Not my married life or circumstances.  So why are you jumping in?  As far as my comments it was about my ancestors.

When a poster asks me this: "If that is  true why did you spend so many years living in the most socialist environment there is in the US", then I believe I have the right to answer.  And I gave the answer as to why I believe I have the right to to stay.

I believe I have the right to live here under the circumstances he suggested as much as you and he under a conservative government.  No one here has the right to decide what he asked.

The poster has a habit of making posts personal in various ways.  I believe that is against the TOS, but apparently never enforced.

They would have been completely against this creeping socialism being advocated plus the attempts at social engineering.

I can't seem to find anything in that about the 10 planks.

You said bye bye to me and told me you would not post to me so why are you posting to me. Stand by you bye bye as all will be happy.

No, I am saying that this is my country, bought by my ancestors and that I was born in and that I served.  Some of my ancestors was here in this country before Europeans arrived.  I am not sure what you mean about 'would not have allowed my family to exist'.  That has nothing to the question.  The Constitution allows my family here the same as it does yours.

Its interesting to know why you and others bring a poster's family into discussions, especially about politics.

Since you ask why I've spent so many years in this country, then its fair you answer the same question.

Once again you move to you and not the subject, then you play the picked on person. This is not your country alone it belongs to all who live here, and most of us have served it well. This country was not bought by your ancestors or mine. Fact is our ancestors forced other peoples ancestors out of many of the places they settled so they could live there. Yes like you I have family that were here in what we now call native Americans. All people living here came from other places some a short time ago, and some a very long time ago. The humans started in Africa and then moved to the rest of the world. The difference between you and I is that you are part of the far right movement in this country now which is trying to destroy the country through Trump. Our ancestors fought the far right to create this country, and have fought the far right to keep this country and the world safe. Sadly now we have a group of Americans who leave the path of freedom for Mob rule which is leading to Dictatorship and that destroys everything our ancestors stood for.

And, as to the topic - what are your thoughts about the 10 planks?

The 170 year old planks are as antiquated and out of touch with the realities of the world of 2018 as were the beliefs and writings of the despicable ignorant and evil scum of the same era who believed that enslaving black people was acceptable...

Theories that were both unrealistic and proved wrong by history...

Could it be accurate and truthful to consider that those in this day and age who are worried about the "planks" might be either delusional or "not wrapped too tight" - or possibly both?

Would the majority of rational and logical American Citizens tend to agree?

Thus far they do...

Any further thoughts on the 10 planks? That is the topic, not your perspective on my feelings.

You just proved you have no interest in having a discussion on this topic again. All you want is to attack anyone who doesn’t agree with you that all progressives are ‘neoMarxists’.

As as far as the rest of your claims -  they appear to be just made up like most of your claims.

Did you not notice that I was responding to this pettiness, "Somebody seem very hurt that everyone doesn’t fall for his accusations..."?

Now, what did I make up - the 10 planks???

Once again you prove you do not have any interest in actually having a discussion of a topic you started. You cannot even keep up with the discussion others offer.

Once again - you suggested that I made something up - what did I make up, the 10 planks??

And, as to the topic - what are your thoughts about the 10 planks?

None of these apply directly to the Progressive or Democratic movements.

And then you wrote....

Progressives support a FAIR system of taxation that requires equal SACRIFICE from all citizens to support the common good.

....and....

Instead of abolishing inheritance directly neoRepublicans have used their manipulation of the economy to deprive the 99% of the one major asset previously shared by most of the 99% - the family home.

....and......

neoRepublicans have worked for generations to destroy free public education and replace it with for profit schools that have NO basic requirements for the teachers and produce NO improvements in learning but DO further depress the condition of the remaining public schools by redistributing tax money from the common good into the pockets of the ones owning the for-profit schools.

....and....

Restoring the quality of public schools Americans enjoyed from the 1940's until the mid 1970's IS a goal of the Progressive movement and something vehemently opposed by the neoRepublicans.

It seems like you are expressing support for the 10 planks while saying that they are not part of the Progressive Movement.

Think a bit and try again - do you or do you not support the 10 planks.

When confronted with the term "neoMarxism" our posters of a leftward persuasion refuse to discuss it.

Then and now, agrarian society or an industrial one, what  solution were / are people looking for?

The answer is how to address poverty.

Try reading Wealth and Justice by Thomas Paine

Or the Bible.

I doubt Thomas Paine would help with an understanding of the term "neoMarism". However, discussing the 10 planks could help.
