Your kids aren't you.

You are the vessel to bring your children into the world and their caretakers until they can care for themselves.

You can teach them, love them, and support them, but you can't change them. They are unique individuals who must live their own lives and learn from their own mistakes. Let them be their own person.

  • complete your education or vocational school first
  • no one knows more about a job than the people who are doing it
  • look for opportunity and then put yourself in its path
  • failure is there to point you in a different direction
  • overcome fear with knowledge
  • the difference between winners and losers is that winners never quit
  • the past can't be changed - learn from it - and move on
  • if you don't do the work - you don't gain the knowledge
  • making a list is the simplest way to be more organized and efficient
  • if you don't care about your future, no one else will
  • time is one of your greatest assets in investing
  • if you have lived comfortably on a certain income, that is your retirement goal for your post retirement income stream
  • don't just make a living, make a life
  • chocolate milk and cereal are great together
  • make someone laugh
  • try something new
  • travel
  • have fun
