Drizzle, sunshine and
occasional clouds today.
Fish are jumpin’ and

The waters run high.
Canals, ponds, lakes, reservoirs
under gov control.

Await the passage
of ground water, citizens,
hope springs eternal.

It's almost 70! Cat Happy

At 6:30 this AM it was 49 here in the Philly burbs! So hard to believe we had the AC on for 2 days and have to use blankets at night now. This is nuts! The wind is picking up and the sun is fading. We are supposed to get some rain. I'm still trying to clear the pool cover of water and just when I get it almost dry, it rains again. Cat LOL Gotta go with the flow.

image.jpgHalf of the back yard.Went out for a morning walk.  55 degrees, another beautiful morning. As we were heading out, neighbor came over and offered the thatcher mowerer he rented...so now we have a project for today. Hubby is over at their house using our riding mower to suck up their thatched grass, then we will start our front yard. I don't think we will do the back yard.

We are looking at about 36 hours without rain. The front lawn is a disaster and very wet. Maybe I can harvest it tomarrow.

That tardy blizzard
gifted us with life abundant.
And we were so scared.

That tardy blizzard
brought hungry deer to our yard.
And we were so scared.

That tardy blizzard
allowed snowshoeing in May.
And we were so scared.

That tardy blizzard
revealed a roadside moose.
And we were so scared.

That tardy blizzard
gifted the hillside
with blossoms supreme.

And we were so scared.
Ma Nature’s fits scary, true
yet she means no harm.

There was no monster at the end of this book. Sorry Grover. Images post-blizzard hillside fleurs taken last evening. Smiley Happy We drove up to 10,000 ft, but the snow was sparse, wet and still coming down. We returned to 7,500 feet to where the moose was browsing, the snow accumulation was 16 inches and the air was clear. Snowshoeing in our environs at 7,500 feet in late May is practically a miracle, as in something only God can bring about. Smiley Happy

@GREYGRAMA

Have to correct myself we went from nice frost to freeze warning, as of 5 minutes ago.

Gotta love Maine mountain weather, if you don't like it stick around for a minute.

@Frozenoem

We too have had frost warnings for the last three nights, but lucky us, we have been spared and all is looking well. Once all threats of frost have passed, then we can worry of pending hail storms.

50* and sunny with possible frost next 2 nights.

There generally is a shot at frost until the end of May in Maine.

POC left my bench and picked up at 4 AM, after 4 day battle with WannaCry.

Wanta sleep durn it, waiting for the grass to dry and coffee to perk.

Haiku can't get 5-7-5? To fit with Spring no snow-yeah!

"What a difference a day makes!" From 92 yesterday afternoon with the AC on for 2 days, it was 64 this AM when I woke up! From way above normal to below normal temps for this weekend. I opened the windows to a delicious cool air, but had to close them partially a few minutes later. HA! It's cloudy and sprinkling a little, but I'll take this over the heat and humidity of the last 2 days. Cat Happy
