10* feels like 0* when in a winter wonderland, coffee is dripping to CYA.

Lost power briefly repeatedly, need backup it just tastes better than the percolator for Coleman, or French press backup. I have a coffee problem no coffee we got a problem😄.

If it warms to at least 15* hope to clear firewood pile.

Yesterday I may have overdone the standing upright vs foot above heart bit.

I’m now officially bored, never been this slow to remove a couple of feet of snow.

@LaDolceVita

Prefer my backup heat in Woodstove 👍.

Just in case BBQ still waiting for blackout.20 lb. propane.

Coleman camp stove in kitchen with small cylinders, 1 lb. propane that’s when the fancy schmansy glass topped electric stove becomes cooktop.

Windchill warning up for afternoon. Hope dog and hubby survived and doing well.

Need to shovel for someone getting dirty looks from Chell.

@Frozenoem  We just had internet & TV restored  a few hours ago.  Had 2 power outages separated by 44 hours of power in between the two so it was not as bad as it could have been.  Had an accident with the Coleman stove, no humans or dogs were injured, but I am glad I did not see it!  Reports of a fire ball in the in the back yard and it seemed to chase a dog!  Hubby burned fingers slightly chucking the thing out the back door.   For once I think  my weather report is worse than yours.  It was sooo cold!!

Ok 16* and wind is howling, 24 + “ of snow, seems to have fallen. Reason for probably 2’+ calculation the town snowblower around 10’ tall just came down driveway to spare seniors from heart attacks.

Will be waiting a bit to snow blow, Feel the need for coffee and perhaps fruitcake. I think I’m stalling the inevitable clean up, did I mention the old growth 60 foot pine in the backyard is whipping and it’s approx 8’ wide at its base.

Chelli was not impressed this morning. Need more ☕️ coffee.

Gotta admit I wish he had plowed out kennel for Chell.

Boots, parka, overpants, thunsulate weatherproof gloves, beanie.

Guess after this last coffee will go out.

We just got back from shopping and my retirement Christmas party! Got to catch up with the news and how people are doing with the issues of growing older.

Another night of cold, wind and snow showers. Will have some warming by the weekend.

15* snow will fall at rate of approximately 1-2” per hour for 24 hours - uh huh.

Coffee is brewing, Snowblower has had tires filled, gas checked and 5w-30 added.

It May be a long, day, night.

I think our weatherman may have gone to the same schools, as Mnuchin.

Expected totals I think are lowballs 6-18” during 24 hour event.
