25* and flurries with snow warning Tuesday to Wednesday, geez wonder what that means.

West to East snow from Canada before looping back with ocean moisture, guess what 30 years in Maine mountains have taught me.

Attempt #2 will be made to shovel light snow, in kennel and front door yard.

Seems to be hard to shovel while booted, gonna be long Winter at this rate.

But, at least it’s warm out, guess that means 30 years winter camping makes 10-30* T-shirt weather gotta go.

Chell is calling.

Hi @ss11943859  Sandee,

Nice to see you posting on this board. Smiley Happy

I was born in snow country, but lived in the snow-free portions of the west coast for decades. Didn't even have a coat.  Walked into REI one June day when the temp was 101 and asked if they had a parka to sell me, because I was moving to snow country! Smiley Happy (Really good time to stock up on winter gear, btw: we got everything for 50% off. I still have all that gear. Smiley Happy)

Anyway that was over 16 years ago.  I still love snow, and admit this Christmas holiday will be seeking it out, planning to be in the snow as much as possible. Forest and snow=Christmas. Smiley Happy

That said, once we are retire, we plan to live in an RV for the first 15ish years, moving around to the weather and environs we want when we want, so that means we'll be looking to avoid snow shoveling, driving in icy conditions and will be stopping to play in the snow every now and again. Smiley Wink

For now, my love affair with winter continues. Smiley Happy

Snow, ice, shovel, plow ???  Bah ! Humbug !

Having always lived in Minnesota, This does not excite me. Lucky this year, so far ! No white stuff on the ground !  The rest of the nation can keep it, thank you.

I do have fond memories of trips out west...75* in Vegas, New Mexico in January. Flowers in January ! Yes !  Smiley Happy

31* and fluffy dry 6” of snow has stopped falling from sky.

Chelli recovered from her initial WTF moment, and began to play in almost belly height cloudiness.

This will be a shovel storm, me thinks, for quiet speedy removal. Shucks, time to explain snowmachines, trail groomers and plows.

Need coffee, coffee and dusting off of my shovel.

Might be long morning.

Promises of More on Tuesday.

@catwoman500 Ha ha! That's excellent news for those of us outside Pennsyvannia, but do take care. Smiley Happy
