@Epster

She can do wrong but, she is not reason for Maalox moments.

Thankfully, good food means bricks evacuate, most of the time😂.

No ! 2-foot long rawhide chews, are allowed for teething anymore.

Have found another use for my 4” drywall taping knife 😈.

@catwoman500

Me thinks we think alike.😇

In terms of Maalox/Tums moments.

Now, I need to fix the Bissell Rug cleaner, time to apply another layer of Scotchguard👍.

Almost forgot it’s a warm 34*, with perhaps a comfy high of 46* today. No gale force winds makes it comfy out - shirtsleeves.

I have a confession, and I suppose this is a good of a place as any, especially since I see the topic has already been mentioned.  I'm referring to "Black Friday".  I had made a pledge that I would do no shopping on the day.  Not only did I break my pledge but I also succumbed to one of my addictions.
I blame one of my friends and I have told her.  I hope she feels the appropriate guilt for not being available when I needed her.  I had to leave a voicemail.  While waiting for my call to be returned I somehow found the Amazon button and from there to the art supplies.  I'm not strong enough to resist a set of 152 colored pencils.
I've told my friend that I'm blaming her for my sin and we ended up having a big laugh about it.  Perhaps she will come over and we can play with all the colors.

It only feels like years, eons, etc.

Tums doesn’t cut it, had been hoping I’d be more like the dog by now.

@Frozenoem...

Gonna kill 2 birds with one stone here, even though I don’t like the word “killing.”

So here I go:

I hate the “trumped up” Black Friday sales, too. Your Maalox moment is the reasonTums have been sitting out on my counter for a couple of years now. N.

I hate Black Friday sales.Sorry if that’s too harsh.

Need to find Maalox watched 2 minutes of Trump, I swore I wouldn’t mention politics ever in this group😇😈.

Morning Roll Call! NOVEMBER - DECEMBER

Message 178 of 256

Good morning everyone! We will be in the upper 50's today and sunny.

So who is tired of black Friday Ad's besides me? We have a local car dealer that has 4 guys yelling in some kind of gibberish and dressed like a four man tag team on WWF or a band. Then there are those that run an ad twice in the same ad brake. I worked in retail for 10 years so you will not see me in any big box stores today.

Remember to support your local businesses often. They support the local community, food panties and youth programs.

Small Business Saturday!

First observed in the United States on November 27, 2010, it is a counterpart to Black Friday and Cyber Monday, which feature big box retail and e-commerce stores respectively. By contrast, Small Business Saturday encourages holiday shoppers to patronize brick and mortar businesses that are small and localSmall Business Saturday is a registered trademark of American Express corporation.
