Coffee !

I've been all over these forums & can't find the 'right forum', so mybe i'll find an answer on the front porch ? 

I have 2 cans of 'cheapie' coffee ; tried mixing them so they would be more flavorful, but not-so-much did it work. Might buy a more spendy brand & mix them, but in meantime, anyone have any ideas on how to make these cheap brands taste better ?

Welcome to this Sunday morning with temps in the lower 40's and good chance of snow showers! Will again be watching CBS SUNDAY MORNING NEWS. My coffee will surely do it's best to allow me to have a relaxing day! We will be ordering Sunday brunch from the kitchen which will be covered by our monthly fee. We will be watching the Packers game starting at noon.

I am not a coffee drinker, however my family likes Finger Lakes Coffee Roasters. Has anyone had it? Here in the Finger Lakes Region of Upstate New York we have had a mild winter with an inch or two of snow here and there. We did however, have one storm that brought three feet to some areas! Any other Upstate New Yorkers out there?

To Everybody on Our Front Porch!

It is freezing cold here; so much so my hands are cold despite having the furnace on.  It rained all night long last night and even most of the morning.  The sky is milky white with overcasting clouds.  No sun at all.  Just light.  All of this brings to mind the advent of winter which I, for one, do NOT look forward to at all.  But into winter we will soon be and either I will go forward willingly or kicking and screaming like a brat.  And even though I like to think of myself as a "baby senior" (all of the seniors in my circle are older than me), I tend not to allow my bratty self out very often.  Smile.  Nobody would pay much attention anyway.

So I guess for today,  I'm just gonna settle back with a cup of heavily creamed and sugared coffee before I head back to bed for my afternoon nap.  After all, traditions must not be broken.

Health, peace, safety, and love to everyone reading this now.

Increase scoop amounts per 12-cup pot with fair warning it may work as colonic, have Imodium handy.

If you have a local convenience with palatable coffee their brand try buy in a bag or 20 of there’s.

It works here , Maine for the start of pandemic. Buck a 12-cup bag for coffee drinkers that hate cheap maxwell house or Folgers. Your price per bag may vary.

One more lockdown away from back to working for real coffee roaster/blender.🤣👍

Problem with cheaper blends are fillers, added in to make it appear like real coffee.Chicory dried, roasted and ground can increase joy for some.

Health store or your backyard dependent.It’s a weed check forage sites on YouTube perhaps.

Best I can offer, also check out restaurant supply houses for repoed 100% Arabian coffee, makers, etc.

End of business sale all must go, you know you always wanted a Viking stove for $300 and a case of coffee green mountain for $20, or whatever half off wholesale is.

A salesman was going door to door trying to sell his wares. As he walked up to the next house, he noticed a small boy sitting on the front steps.

"Is your mother home?" the salesman asked the small boy.

"Yeah, she's home," the boy said, scooting over to let him past.

The salesman rang the doorbell, got no response, knocked once, then again. Still no one came to the door. Turning to the boy, the fellow said, "I thought you said your mother

was home?!"

The kid replied, "She is, but this isn't where I live."
