I've been all over these forums & can't find the 'right forum', so mybe i'll find an answer on the front porch ? 
I have 2 cans of 'cheapie' coffee ; tried mixing them so they would be more flavorful, but not-so-much did it work. Might buy a more spendy brand & mix them, but in meantime, anyone have any ideas on how to make these cheap brands taste better ?

The morning coffee. I'm not sure why I drink it. Maybe it's the ritual
of the cup, the spoon, the hot water, the milk, and the little heap of
brown grit, the way they come together to form a nail I can hang the
day on. It's something to do between being asleep and being awake.
Surely there's something better to do, though, than to drink a cup of
instant coffee. Such as meditate? About what? About having a cup of
coffee. A cup of coffee whose first drink is too hot and whose last drink
is too cool, but whose many in-between drinks are, like Baby Bear's por-
ridge, just right.

Let’s face it — the whole purpose of drinking coffee didn’t originate from lovely flavors and pretty designs in our cups. It began with a need for energy derived from caffeine. Some may claim that a cup of decaf in the evening soothes them to sleep without the stimulant, and really, that may be the safer bet for a lot of people.
But truthfully, the true caffeine fanatic can guzzle gallons of the regular brew right up until bedtime and still be asleep the minute their head hit their pillow! Thus, the trash talk about a decaf cup of joe.
