watch "Into

released

DVD. We
really
enjoyed
it
because
we

I

Hi
All:

Watched "

Enchanted

" and "

The
Kite
Runner

" over
the
past
2
days. "

Enchanted"

is
a
good
movie
to
watch
with
kids
under
13. I
was
disappointed
with "

The
Kite
Runner

". I'm
not
sure
what
I
expected
of
the
movie, but
the
book
got
such
rave
reviews, (which
I
didn't
read) I
thought
the
movie
would
be
good. I
wasn't
impressed.

Going
to
watch "

Conversations

with
God"

this
afternoon.

I
watched "

" over

The

is
okay
if

not
too
impressed
as
a
movie
for
just
the

to
watch. "

Dan
in
Real
Life

" was
just
okay
too. Seemed
there
were
too
many
characters
in
the
movie
to
explain
all
the
relationships
with
each
other
to
it's
fullest. A
lot
of
the
plot
seemed
rushed
and
not
fully
explained
so
it
could
fit
in
a
two
hour
movie. Not
as
impressed
as
I
thought
I'd
be
for
a
Steve

movie. I
like
him
in
other
movies & TV
shows
I've
seen
him
in ("The
Office" & "40
Year
Old

to
mind). But
I
don't
think
he
was
that
good
in
this
one.

Hi
Mike,

I
also
enjoyed "Into
the
Wild".  I
rented
it
from
Netflix.  You are right that the movies
today cost a lot but my girlfriend and I go every Tuesday to see a
new release.  It's been a tradition with us for almost 25
years.  We go to the matinee which costs us $7.00.  The
theater is in the mall and if you buy anything in the mall you are
allowed to carry it in so my friend and I microwave our popcorn at
home and we bring that and our soda in a shopping mall bag.  No
one is the wiser.  Our theater has a movie club card and once
you accumulate enough points you get a free movie.  It's my
girlfriend's only enjoyment since she works many long hours so I
think the expense is worth it.  After the movie she comes to my
house for dinner.  My husband usually has it ready.  Then
we watch a movie that I've rented from Netflix.  This week
there is nothing good playing at the theater so we are just going to
watch movies here at my house.  I have "Enchanted"
with Amy Adams and Patrick Dempsey and I hope "The Kite
Runner" will arrive in today's mail.  I don't know if
you've seen it yet but I would highly recommend "Sweeney
Todd" which comes out on DVD on April 1st.  It's a bit
bloody but I loved it.  You may also find some more
recommendations under the topic "Your Movie Reviews" which
Shelby (Littlemite) started.

Take care and enjoy the movies.

Hi
MikeMy
husband
and
I
have
been
having
a
hard
time
finding
a
good
DVD
to
watch. I
am
going
to
order "Into
the
Wild" since
you
and
your
wife
enjoyed
watching
it. I
like
outdoor
films
myself, and
so
does
my
hubbyGarlon
and
I
don't
go
to
the
theater
at
all, so
our
best
bet
is
to
use
Netflix, or
record
on
our
DVRHe
has
recorded
about
1200
movies
on
either
VCR, DVD
or
DVR, has
them
filed
in
alphabetical
order
in
plastic
containers, labeled, and
get
this...he
has
a
binder
filled
with
paper
where
he
has
typed
the
names
of
the
movies
also
in
Alphabetical
order
on
a
numbered
list, so
he
knows
where
to
find
a
particular
movie. He
is
a
bit
over
organizedHe
will
watch
anything
with
Gregory
Peck, Audrey
Hepburn, James
Dean, in
the
moviesand
most
of
the
classicsI
like
them
too, but
still
like
some
of
the
new
ones.

Any
other
suggestions
would
be
appreciatedFran

Hey
Fran,

What's
wrong
with
organizationI
have
over
1000
DVD's
and
not
only
are
they
categorized
by
the
type
of
movie
such
as
war, drama, comedy, classics, children's, musicals,
etc. but
they
are
also
in
alphabetical
orderI
use
to
have
index
cards
of
all
my
videos
and
when
someone
borrowed
one
I
would
put
their
name
and
date
checked
out
on
the
cardWhen
they
returned
it
I
would
date
stamp
the
date
returnedGot
this
from
working
in
the
library
in
high
school. lol
