Sign Up Gift??

My husband and I signed up and were promised a bluetooth speaker and recieved a cheap lunch bag?? We were very disappointed in AARP for this bait and switch!

I thought it was just me I have never receive a gift for signing up or renewing? No lunch bag no tote unless my memory is at lunch!

We are sorry that you have not received your gift.  It usually takes approximately six to eight weeks after signing up.  If you this time has passed, you can either call 1-888-687-2277 and talk to one of our membership assistants or email member@aarp.org requesting this gift.

It usually takes 6 to 8 weeks after calling to receive the gift, has it been this long?  If so, let me know and we can follow up.

I have called and was told it would be sent and again I have still not received anything .maybe here is can get a answer as to why?

Thought I was to receive a sign up gift - a tote of some sort, etc. for signing up for AARP.  Have been signed up for a couple of months and still no gift.  Guess I misunderstood that.
