Moving prescriptions to new part D plan

Hi,

I am changing Part D prescription plans (My old plan won't continue into 2024, so I was forced to switch).

Is there a method of moving my existing prescriptions from on plan to another come January 1, or will I have to get my doctors to reissue?

The answer is “It Depends”.  You may want to search the internet for responses to this question: “ If I change Medicare Part D plans, will my prescriptions transfer to the new drug plan? “
