Long Term Care Insurance

I am currently in my 70s, not married and living alone.  My adult children live in other states.  I need to obtain a long term care insurance policy in the event I am no longer able to take care of myself and I need to move into a senior care housing facility.  What are my options?

@OmiYemonja some LTC carriers are not currently taking LTC applications at this time on folks over age 65.

Even if you find a carrier, applications are medically underwritten. Long form application with health and MEDICAL (corrected spelling) history plus family medical history. They will also conduct a phone interview.

Good luck!
