My home health agency is limiting my visits to 7 weeks of physical therapy and 6 weeks of occupational therapy and only one or two visits by a home health aid.
Is that all Medicare allows or should they be giving more?

1st, There isn't an actual time line . it may not even last that long if it is not medically necessary and the provider is the judge of your improvement or to the point of stagnation - meaning, it gets to a point in improvement and then you stop improving, i.e. stagnation.
So the real measure is "medically necessary"
Medicare.gov Physical Therapy Coverage
from the link:
When your doctor or other health care provider certifies you need it,
Medicare.gov Occupational therapy
medically necessary outpatient occupational therapy if your doctor or other health care provider certifies you need it.
