I feel like a mouse on a wheel. After months of talking to SSA, we finally got my husband signed up for spousal benefits. However, someone in that office stopped the agent from applying for Medicare stating the 5 year rule. I begged him to continue under the married for one year rule, but he could not. Now I donโt know where to turn. The Medicare online staff is not exactly up on this subject and told me to go back to SSA.
