Does anyone know about the Assisted Living Waiver Program in California.
My understanding is that provides a way in which Medi-Cal can pay for living the rental expense of someone who isn't able to live on their own. Is this correct?
I was recently seen by a psychiatrist at a county hospital in California, and when I asked him about the program, he claimed that the didn't know about it.
Is talking to my doctor the best way to participate in the Assisted Living Waiver Program, or do I have to take another avenue?
