Re: Some Real World Dating Advice for Men Over 50 an update

Well it has been two years since our last update.

It has been going on four years since we met on the internet and we are still together. With time we have drawn closer. We understand each other better, and we enjoy each other more. There is something special to the second time around.

Since our last update we have published two books, almost completed our third, and started doing some research on our fourth.

We continue to travel, meet new people and make new friends. We document out travels on Facebook and soon on YouTube.

If their is one thing we have learned, life alone is not what it is cracked up to be.

Russ and Dee

BRAVO Irishmist!!!  Spoken like a true fellow dating warrior.  I have said similar things to sooo many of my dates by now only to get labeled bitter or angry.  SERIOUSLY!!!  I am neither.  Being single and on my own (after ending a 20+yr marriage) is absolutely incredible!  I am sooo much happier and content now than I have been in years.

That being said though, it becomes really obvious to me rather quickly why some men are still single after way too many years.  Don't even get me started on the ones who are in their 50's and have never had a relationship for longer than 2-3yrs.  SERIOUSLY???  How does one get to be in their 50's and never have a relationship longer than that?  Anyway, great advice and hopefully someone uses it to improve the dating opportunities.

This seems to be the most recent message. Is there still an aarp site where ISO ads are placed? Thanks! Beto

As you are AARP, I will make the leap that you are over 50, dangerous I know. That being the case, there is Match, Our Time, and Senior Match to name a few. We met using Match and Our Time. The truth is, they are all about the same as it takes you effort to be successful.
