Happy 4th y'all.

We went to Waikiki Brewery in Kaka'ako (what a name for a neighborhood, right?) for barbecued smoked brisket that tastes like the ones served in the best barbecue smoke houses in Houston. It was a little bit pricey but it sure beats flying to Texas for the same delicious authentic taste.

My belly is happy. My bingo card is not. C'est la vie.

When the fireworks come on a little later, I will round out my Happy Birthday American outfit of blue jeans and white T-shirt with a class of red wine. Happy 4th y'all.
