A quick weather update from the islands: from now until about mid September there's a contest going on as to which day is muggier, with an occasional trade-winds relief to wipe away the scowls on people's faces. The ocean is so blue it hurts the eyes. Please use reef friendly sunscreen if you must go out in the sun, or apply freshly cut aloe vera leaf over your sunburn asap.

Good evening everyone. Another sunny and hot day with temperatures at this time 92 feels like 94 but at least it is below 100.

I lost by two numbers. Congrats to who ever wins this game. Please sign me up for the next game.

Last night our Bible Study group had a social night with good food and even played the game Password. We broke into two groups of four and each group had a moderator.

Tomorrow I will be going to my DIL as one of her many children have a birthday. Sarah is going to be 25 and wants her step grandmother there. I was honor to be asked and said I would love to come. My DIL has six kids and only two are at home. The youngest is 15. So with my son's two boys they have at least 6 people at meal times and Barbara cooks all the meals and they are so good.

Spent most of the day watching the Great Horned Owl in the neighbors tree. 🦉 Absolutely beautiful. About 2 foot tall. Wouldn't have known it was there if it wasn't for the blue jay squawking like the dickens and we started looking around for the reason he was fussing.
