What are your top ten all time favorite TV series?
Wow we have covered quite a number of shows old and new in this group. Makes me wonder, after all of the years and all of the shows, which ones you have loved above all others.
Feel free to say why or comment if you would like to..
No restrictions.. comedy, drama, reality, whatever you like.

That would be an ever-changing list, but if I was somehow stranded on an uncharted island with the ability to watch some T.V. each day, I'd want some variety:
NOVA
Futurama
Frontline
The Red Green Show
Star Trek is a toss-up between Enterprise and Discovery
Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom
And lump all those shows about Zoo's on Animal Planet into one series.

In no particular order:
Werewolf (1987-1988) -- best show to air on the then-new Fox network; highly underrated
Voyage To The Bottom Of The Sea (1964-1968) -- way ahead of its time sci fi
Kolchak: The Night Stalker (1974-1975) -- extremely underrated and underappreciated
The X-Files (1993-2002; 2016; 2018) -- wouldn't exist if Kolchak didn't exist first
Josie And The Pussycats (1970-1972) -- long tails and ears for hats!
Thundarr The Barbarian (1980-1981) -- best animated show ever.
He-Man And The Masters Of The Universe (1983-1984) -- amazing
She-Ra: Princess Of Power (1985-1986) -- amazing
The Beverly Hillbillies (1962-1971) -- one of the all-time classics
Bewitched (1964-1972) -- one of the very best comedies ever
Barney Miller (1974-1982) -- near perfect character-driven comedy
MASH (1972-1983) -- still the best dramedy of all time, virtual perfection
Dallas (1977-1991) -- the king of the nighttime soaps
Sons Of Anarchy (2008-2015) -- fabulous brutal depiction of MC life, amazing characters
Oz (1997-2003) -- fabulous brutal depiction of prison life, underrated and nearly forgotten
The Sopranos (1999-2007) -- one of the best TV series ever in any genre.
The New Adventures Of Huckleberry Finn (1968-1969) -- weird, good, alternate-worlds show
Thundercats (1985-1989) -- doesn't get much better than this for animated shows
Fantastic Journey (1977) -- another weird alternate worlds show, but actual sci-fi

Modern Family
Barney Miller
Tonight Show with Johnny Carson

Out of the top of my head, I could have a different list tomorrow. Not sure if talk shows and variety/music shows count, but those are very important to my television viewing life.
