AARP Hearing Center
I’d like to play several aluminum disc recordings that have been passed down. They are quite dear to us as they contain a family member singing. I believe these were recorded in one of those old record-your-voice booths, I think.
I remember as a child, someone trying to play it on a traditional record player with not much luck. I’ve heard that it can wreck those needles, so don’t want to try.
Anyone know of a way to do this, or a way to transfer the recordings professionally by a company.
Thanks!
You may want to try flea markets, pawn shops, yard sales, or Google search to see what you can find.
Look at this from a search I made.
