Janet Boudreau remembers back in 1988 when she first started seeing the rippling flag โ€œI Votedโ€ sticker popping up at election time.
 
Sheโ€™d go to the grocery store on Election Day and see it pasted on peopleโ€™s shirts. Sheโ€™d spot it stuck to the outside of peopleโ€™s wallets. She even remembers the first time she saw it on someoneโ€™s car dashboard.
