Do You Remember "You Asked for It"?

I have a memory of an episode that can't possibly be right, as my child mind interpreted it.  I seem to recall that some people took filings off a junk car, put it into their food, ate it, and during the course of 10 years or so, ate the entire car.  If you go through the math, that's impossible.
