Call-a-Ride is a popular paratransit service and one of the most popular ridership comes from people over the age of 50. But why should a good law abiding citizen pay a fare similar to a taxicab to ride on a public van? That's stupid. If a person who wanted to go from like Kirkwood to Eureka, they would have to pay more like $40.00 just to use the service. And who has that kind of money. Here is another petition I created to get Call-a-Ride to redo it's general public fares so that people our age don't have to pay a fortune to use Call-a-Ride. You all may want to sign this to let Metro know that what they are doing is stupid.
