Gratitude is a powerful tool that can help relieve stress, especially during the holidays. Research has found that simply feeling grateful, even if you don’t necessarily share those feelings with anyone, can boost your mental health in the long run and have lasting effects on the brain.
Don't save your gratitude just for Thanksgiving! Making gratitude a daily practice will help you reap the full benefits. One way to regularly practice is to keep a gratitude journal. It doesn't have to be time-consuming, just 10 minutes a day can shift your consciousness and help you feel happier.
