There are 26 cases in Deal or No Deal, and each one has a specific dollar value – from 1 cent to $1 million. As you choose cases, they are eliminated from the game – and their dollar amount is eliminated, too.
With so many cases, it’s easy to wonder if they might be organized in a specific way. Maybe it would be smarter to eliminate cases in order, starting with 1, or going backward from 26?
Ultimately, in this officially licensed version of the game, the cases are truly random. So whether you choose cases in a specific order or choose chaotically, your chances of removing the 1 cent case (or a similarly low number) remain the same.
The strategy comes into play when you start eliminating cases and need to choose whether to take the banker’s offer… or tell them NO DEAL. That choice is up to you!
