Geoguessr can be a tough game – especially if you find yourself in a nondescript forest or on a long, lonely road. Here are some things to look for to get you closer to the right spot:
- Languages – are there any signs with a language on it? This can put you somewhere specific in the world – but be careful, as some languages can appear in many places.
- Road signs – different countries have different-looking signs. You may not know which specific country has the sign you’re looking it, but it could provide a region or general context.
- Websites – do you see a billboard or another advertisement with a website domain? It might be more specific than .com -- .au is Australia and .br is Brazil, for instance.
- Environment – Some places have specific types of trees, or mountains, or deserts, or water. Keep an eye out!
