I am wondering how long the elation will last.  Perhaps until President Trump does something to cause the financial sector to become insecure.

The market's been good since the election. There's only one potential downside to this, for some people. If their IRAs are at a high at the end of the year, and they have to take an RMD, they will be forced to take out more .. and pay tax on it. If the market slides a little in the first quarter, they may not want to do that .. but RMDs aren't optional.

The Dow, S&P 500 and Nasdaq closed today at all-time highs, for a record-setting finish to a holiday-shortened trading week.

. Record-setting rally: In case you haven't noticed, the U.S. market (and many other global indexes) are in the midst of a major bull market rally.
And stocks look set to continue their red hot run on Black Friday.
U.S. stock futures are pushing up.
If they hold onto their gains when the markets open, we will see fresh record highs from the Dow Jones industrial average and S&P 500.
