I am 58. I like the AARP discounts, but did not think this organization would be my new "go to" for coping advice. My husband is 55 with vascular dementia that took a severe nosedive in the last 3 months. A week ago, we moved him into a long-term care facility. (I still cringe at the term nursing home, but he has several serious medical needs and requires 24/7 care. Our doctors were blunt with me (I was still in denial.) there is no way I can contine working, which at 58 I need to do, and meet his needs for care and safety.

I am struggling with this ambuguous loss of my husband of 30 years and friend for 38+ years. I was at his 18th birthday party, but neither of us knows when we first met. Geographically, we are sure that it was in New York City, but we don't even know what Borough!

Forgive me for jumping into the deep end of the pool with my pressing question about controlling his access to pornography in the nursing home.
