It seems that investors have found a loophole to make money by investing in 55+ manufactured home parks, which, in itself, is not a crime and I have nothing, per se, against real estate investments. However, excessive rent raises will only cause people to lose their paid-for homes and, possibly, even more homelessness and death than need be. Most of the "baby-boomers" in these parks have worked all their lives just to gain a little peace and it sometimes feels as if the powers that be would like to see all of us on welfare. We moved into these places naively thinking that we had finally found a place to rest and retire. Silly us.
