As you get older, the term โchronic health conditionโ begins to crop up more often.
You may have made it through your 20s, 30s and 40s ache-free and with perfect blood work. But then your 50s hit, and you discover your blood pressure is up, your cholesterol is concerning and your knees stiffen and pop every time you stand. Once you turn 65, you are in a small minority if you donโt have a chronic condition.

Geez, I must be VERY OLD at age 67. Lol, lots of chronic for me!!!
Well for years I have been on Blood Pressure medicine, runs in my family.
Had pre-diabetes for ONE year's Medicare Yearly Bloodwork but thanks to "listening" to my awesome doctor, back to normal. Mediterrean Diet & walking 1/2 hour EVERY day worked.
The "obesity" issue came with Retirement and working on finding INTERESTING things to do that DONOT cost "an arm & a leg".
I have my 1st FREE Medicare Counseling session in a week. We get 12 each year. NOT dealing well with getting old & in another state from my only child. My Medicare doctor had offered meds but told him, nope - Talk Therapy. Did a referral, GRATEFUL!!! ๐
Yes, every now and again the aches show up but not enough to take painkillers.
Take care,
