It seems that while this website (http://seniorsportsforlife.com) contains some great information and encouragement, the group may not be active. I've sent an email and will report. Smiley Happy I hope they ae stillactive. Look at this poll:

So I just stumbled across the National Senior Athletes Association and thought I'd post tidbits from their website for anyone interested in learning more.

From their Website's 'Athletes' page:

Whether you:

  • Consider yourself an athlete or not
  • Currently play a sport or want to learn for the first time
  • Haven’t played sports in years or play on a regular basis
  • Prefer to play sports recreationally or competitively
  • Are in shape or out of shape

We’re here to help you achieve your sports and fitness goals – however simple or grandiose they may be – by providing a wide variety of exceptional programs and services designed to release the athlete in YOU!

We’re also here to help ensure that you have fun in the process and that you get to enjoy the numerous additional benefits associated with belonging to this wonderful community of active and amazing people."

From their Website's 'Beliefs' page:

  • Everyone is an athlete
  • Playing sports promotes a happy, healthy life
  • Improving at sports improves your life
  • It’s never too late to start playing
  • You can always improve
  • A pain-free, mobile body is our natural state
  • Everyone can become pain-free
  • Everyone is important
  • Going for your dreams is good for the world
  • Being a senior athlete is cool
  • We are much stronger collectively

At $500 bucks the membership is too pricey for me, but they do have a free weekly newsletter.
