Ketogenic diet has lowered my blood sugar

After only 1 week on the Ketogenic diet my glucose readings dropped from an average of 150 before bed to 84 average before bed.

 I have Dawn syndrome so my morning fasting readings are always the highest of the day. However they have dropped from 240 to 145.

Diet is 60 - 70% fat,  20% protein,  and about 10% carbohydrates.  The biggest difference from the usual low carb diet is the high fat, and modest amount of protein. Losing a couple of pounds per week, but the most encouraging reason for sticking with this is the decrease in glucose levels.
