Has Anyone Tried Cannabis for Pain or Anxiety?
Hi everyone, I’m curious if any of you have explored using cannabis for managing chronic pain or anxiety?
As a senior, I’ve been looking for natural ways to improve my well-being and recently started learning about the benefits of cannabis. I’ve found it helpful for things like arthritis pain and stress relief, but I know everyone’s experience is different.
Have you tried it? I’d love to hear your stories, thoughts, or even questions about how cannabis can help with common health issues we face. Let’s start a conversation—I’m excited to learn from you all!

My 84 year old mother uses gummies for pain. She has chronic back pain from scoliosis and her pain management doctors are too scared to prescribe any narcotics and that’s another story. So she got her cannibis card and uses cannabis for pain. It helps and allows her to sleep. My dad was having problems with sleep and started taking it at bedtime and now he sleeps through the night. They both use it and find that it’s effective. They never would have dreamed of taking cannabis until it was legalized in Oklahoma.

WOW! What a blessing! That is amazing! Thank you for sharing their story Christopher!
Do you know anything about your experience getting the cannabis card? Was it a hassle? Or a pretty easy process?
If either of your parent would like to be on my blog/podcast please extend an invitation! I'd love for more people to hear their story.

- What changes do you notice when you use cannabis?
- If you could share one message about cannabis with other seniors, what would it be?

Would you by any chance be willing to share any more with me? I run a blog/podcast called Senior Savvy Cannabis and I'd love to share your story.
If you're interested (no pressure at all!) I can send you a link and a question or two. But absolutely no pressure!
