The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has officially approved a COVID-19 vaccine from Novavax for adults 65 and older and for individuals ages 12 to 64 who have an underlying health condition that puts them at higher risk for serious illness from a coronavirus infection.

The vaccine, Nuvaxovid, is the third coronavirus shot to gain full approval, joining vaccines from Pfizer and Moderna. It has been available under emergency use authorization for people 12 and older since 2022.

Got mine this morning at 8:30am ET at CVS. SO GRATEFUL they send me texts & emails when the NEW vaccines (including flu) arrive. I schedule online IMMEDIATELY. Also GRATEFUL Medicare pays 100 percent.  🙃

Once they get COVID "under control" (whatever that means with SOME folks here in my area of Virginia feeling a need to act like it does NOT exist = we are dealing with frequent surges  😤), my doctor says it will become like the FLU = a YEARLY SHOT. Lol, doubt that will happen before I die. Age 67 this year 2025. I am so ready for it to be CONTROLLED.

(1) For those who do the COVID vaccines, any reactions?  🤔

(2) TODAY, so far at about 5pm ET, okay. Lol, waiting for TOMORROW for the "possible" red rash, pain & itching.
