Building Resiliency: Gratitude

Resilience . . .  the capacity to recover from adversity or more simply phrased "bouncing back."

There are many components, the one I'm trying to improve upon . . . gratitude.

By practicing gratitude on a daily bases, we help build resiliency.  Try for three or more things daily to be thankful for.  Even better, journal them.  It's a great way to look back when you are struggling.

I am grateful today :

to go to my podiatrist and take care of a cracked toe. ( possessed grocery cart! )

for  having the time to work on my new hobby, writing limericks.

to watch an episode of a Netflix series, with a delicious smoothie for lunch.

What are you grateful for?   ---  Christine
