Re: AARP The Magazine's Be Healthy, Stay Healthy Sweepstakes
I would tell my younger self that there is no time like NOW:
1. Just because you're thin and agile doesn't mean you'll always be that way. Start exercising while you're young and it's easy to do. This will make exercising for your older self much easier.
2. Start saving at an early age. Deposit only what you can afford monthly, even if it's only $10 because it all adds up to a secure retirement.
3. Never give your SSN to anyone over the phone.
4. Sex is better midway through life!

Younger self - you might want to rethink your "no regrets" motto and get a FitBit. Just saying...your older body will appreciate it!

I would tell my younger self to stay away from sugar because it started a life-long addiction to sugar and many added pounds. I have had to fight this all my life.

Re: AARP The Magazine's Be Healthy, Stay Healthy Sweepstakes
I enjoyed reading this magazine on line! I would tell my younger self to create a daily exercise routine and as a Tai Chi instructor....practice Tai Chi at an earlier age. It is not just for "older" people. It is life changing. It is a life-long practice, meditation in movement, stress reducer, increases balance and brain activity. The best thing I did for myself!
