Re: AARP The Magazine's Be Healthy, Stay Healthy Sweepstakes
"What you would tell your younger self on how to stay healthy through the years?"
I would tell my younger self to enjoy and savor all the freshness and deliciousness of raw, steamed and roasted vegetables. We ate minimal vegetables growing up. So as I rediscovered them, they became my favorite snack, their taste is so incredible, and they're packed with amazing nutrition! I would also tell my younger self to keep moving. Istead of meeting friends to chat over lunch; we can chat as we walk a trail or chat as we hike a hillside. Lastly, I'd tell my younger self to always be ready to serve others. People are people and we all need each other.

Re: AARP The Magazine's Be Healthy, Stay Healthy Sweepstakes
I'd love to win a Fitbit charge 2 for mom 78 year old mom. She's a stage 4 ovarian cancer survivor! She could keep track of her exercise and walking daily! She has neuropathy and pushes herself to move and stay active!! It would be a wonderful gift for her🏅

Re: AARP The Magazine's Be Healthy, Stay Healthy Sweepstakes
I would tell my younger self to be a little selfish and to take care of my health first instead of being so worried about everyone else. To learn to express my feelings instead of stuffing them down with food. To find an activity that I enjoyed doing and could continue without expensive equipment. Walking fits the bill for me and a Fitbit would help me stay on track.

Re: AARP The Magazine's Be Healthy, Stay Healthy Sweepstakes
The message to my younger self would be to maintain a healthy weight while your young because as we age it becomes more difficult to lose weight and that carrying around too many extra pounds can cause an early onset of Health problems.
