AARP Awards Grants to Strengthen Nursing Workforce.

Funds will go to 12 projects in nine states and Washington, D.C.

A dozen hospitals and organizations across the country will get a financial boost to help them launch programs to strengthen and diversify the nursing workforce and address issues that are driving many to leave the profession.

The 2024 Health Equity and Nursing Innovations Fund Awards, with financial support from AARP and others, provide nearly $275,000 in grants for projects that “offer innovative solutions that create systemic change” in nine states and Washington, D.C.
