On a positive note, I forgot to mention that I got myself an early birthday present for myself. I have wanted a specific dog since I was 5. 

Everyone meet Beasley. I get him on Thursday.

Absolutely. Nothing like puppy love and kisses. He is a little over 9 weeks old and I think he probably weighs about 19-20 pounds. He goes to the vet next week so we will see. Sorry for not responding sooner but I am really in a funk right now. My walls are closing in on me and I know that I have put myself in my own prison but, I am so **bleep** depressed and can't seem to get out of my head.

some support from books, friends or a

support group. It is not wrong to need 

help. You are very vulnerable right now

amd deserve love and support. Also you

should see your Primary and make sure

physically nothing is wrong. God bless

2 of them. I put him in his crate for the first time last week and you would have thought someone was torturing him, LOL. I am slowly trying to get him used to it because I have laundry and stuff to do and I don't want him to try to follow me down a flight of steps cause he is still clumsy. I went down a flight of steps in the middle of the night and ended up with multiple traumatic fractures in my back. I think I am in my own prison both mentally and physically. Mentally I am not sleeping well and with my anxiety it's not a good place to be. Also physically because my car is not working right so I am stuck in these walls and see my husband everywhere. I appreciate all the love, support and prayers. It's only been 7 months but it feels like a lifetime. I have some guilt that I have to work through but, probably never get over it.

Eastern time and I get him Thursday. I have a doctor's appointment tomorrow and he is ready so I can't get him tomorrow. I have to drive to PA to get him but I have to be back before 5 to get my son from his adult provider and I don't want to take the chance because you never know here in Maryland what the traffic is going to be.

I am turning 55 on September 5th. He is 8 weeks old and already weighs 13 pounds. Of course I pick one of the biggest but, he is the exact one I have wanted all these years. I think my husband was sending me a message from above because, something told me to look up Bassett hound puppies and this breeder was the 1st to come up. Ronnie (my husband) finally let me get the one thing I wanted the most.

Congratulations Kimberly.  My grandson has a Bull Mastiff named Maverick.  The dog is taller than I am!!  He is the sweetest most loving dog I have ever seen.  Enjoy Beasley (a great name).
