What is the meaning of memorial garden?

Memorial gardens are areas planted for a specific purpose. That purpose is to remember someone or something special. Memorial gardens are usually planted in memory of people who have passed away. The garden is planted as a tribute to the life or lives that were lost.

Memorial Plant Idea: 

Since you seem to be having this conversation with yourself here ....  an old friend of mines mom used to make a plant for each of her past pets, I think she included some of the pets ashes within the dirt.  Plants were on the patio in the Summer, went indoors in the winter.  She did have a green thumb.
