(1) Have you received or given any? ๐ค
(2) What is YOUR opinion on these gifts? Should we give them or not?
*** If you're not able to be with your grieving friend or loved one physically, you can show them that they have your support during this time of need by sending them a bereavement gift.
The best sympathy gifts can be the ones that just show them that you are thinking of them at this time. ***

My neighbor left a casserole on the front porch with a note of sympathy and offer of help if ever I need it..A very appreciated gesture. I also received some sympathy cards with a money enclosure which came in handy...My daughter' place of employment sent a buffet of asst. meats/cheeses/ pickles/olives / rolls and asst dessert trays plus her union sent a cash enclosure in a sympathy card. I received plants which are still thriving along with a crystal like cross in the big asst plant arrangement..All the above were greatly appreciated for their thoughtfulness. I forgot to mention that our oil delivery company contributed oil for my tank which was above and beyond my expectations...I have usually enclossed a check in a sympathy card in lieu of flowers...Being there after the funeral or what ever event be it a memorial service and long after is a gesture that is appreciated ..Being thought of and remembered is important ...
